so what was your worst ebay experience ?
Personaly i have never had a problem untill today . I bought a light last week ($566 with tax )
http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/ebayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=2394894811
Well when i bought it i didnt see all of dudes feedback . just kinda glanced at it and saw he has over 7000 feedbacks with 99% of people happy . didn't see that there are tons of neutral feedbacks . like 30 in just this month even. most of which are talking about how slow he is or that he doesn't have items at the time he post the auction.
Well anyways. i am moving in a few days and i emailed him a few times to either send it fast orr send it to my girlfiends house. Well he never responded to any emails ..... Today the light shows up and it is the wrong one ($254 )

Well now i am moving in 3 days and then i am going to itaily from the 11th to the 27th of may. so i emailed them and then called the number that came on the shipping box. they refuse to talk to me and tell me i need to wait for a responce from my email ... what the f**k .... grrrr........
better not ask me to pay for shipping back .... or shipping for the new one ......

I've never had a bad experience but Buntz's brother got ripped really bad.
He auctioned a PS2 on ebay and someone mailed him asking if he had a gamecube and xbox as well. When he told him he didn't, the buyer asked if he would take $1900.00 for him to go buy a GC and Xbox and some select games and controllers. He agreed seeing as how he would make a couple hundred dollars profit just to give this guy what was sold out apparently where he lived. Well I don't know all the exact details, but in the end the buyers check bounced even after it showed the amount in his account. Naturally he had already sent the stuff to a PO box instead of a real address. To make a long story longer, they never caught the buyer because he had provided entirely fake information and his checking account had expired back in 1998. Ouch....

I only used Ebay once, but I made out like a bandit. Bought a Sony Playstation from somebody. 2 weeks later I hadn't gotten it yet so I emailed the guy and asked what was up. He said it should have been there, he was sorry and he overnighted me another one. Then the original one came the same day. I emailed him and told him I had both of them, he said don't worry about it keep them both. I hope I went and gave him a good feedback.

That's why money orders are the way to go for payment. Paypal is ok sometimes, but i hear of chargeback horror stories.

Could be but you never know. I know somebody that works for a company that just buys electronics as scrap by the pound and then sells the stuff that works on ebay.
