When:
1. none of your friends IRL understand your jokes anymore. this is usually caused by ancient history stories from RP that even the people on it dont remember, but you just thought about and said "hey guys!! remember that time we were in EC killing orcs and that leggionere popped and we all got over run cuz someone trained a high level DE chick on us?" (you)
"..................." (friends)
2. you make a reference about someone that posts on realpoor. ex. "Oh! what if we told maelstrom about that english for dummies commercial we saw earlier 'oh em gee."
it doesent go over too smooth.
3. like as someones avatar explained. you started using paden as a noun in real life.
4. "Hey! look over at those mountains!"
you, "wow! those graphics are awesome!"
those are the only ones i could think of 
EDIT: or when in english class you say, "lolz yah spelling owns me"

whats funny is that i find myself being a lot more critical of my writing, coming from here where there is a lot of grammar bashing and insults being flung. I also say things like, "not if your paden" and then people look at me in an odd way.
