If you ever wanted to play this game like it's KOTOR, then on the 15th you'll be happy.
If you dont want have more restrictions than what the CURB did, quit now, as there are only 9 cookiee cutter templates that follows one of the movie characters (leia: officer, han solo: smuggler etc)
If you're like me and spent over a year getting jedi, quit now. As of the 15th, jedi is a starting profession. No more JM and DJM, or any other titles for that matter as FRS is gone.

Yeah I read that they did this because they are going to make SWG playable on the PS3, I saw it on a list of games for the PS3 when I was checking out a site and saw that SWG was on the list.
That's the reason I think they did this at least. SoE all about the dolla dolla bills!

Hmm.. I wonder what happened to all the cancelled accounts. I almost want to log into my old account and see if I'm just being asked to respec (again) or if my characters have been wiped.
I hate to say this, but this is what MIGHT bring me back to SWG. As an outsider who has not played this game since the CU rollout but who loved playing it till then, this actually sounds more appealing. The CU and the annihilation of the Bio-Engineer class is what drove me away to begin with.
On a completely unrelated note.. has anyone else noticed that SWG forums are full of the most pompous and self-important players? I thought WoW forums were bad, but those SWG carebears really take the cake. Raising whole cities as memorials to past vets? WTF?

This new game experience literally put the final nail in the coffin. The town I was in dried up overnight, must have been 60 people quit, just in that town.
They ruined it.
