Question about xbox memory card:
When I bought my xbox, i bought a memory card too(made by the microsoft, not a different company) so i could copy games, take em over to friends houses etc...
so here's the deal, when i go to memory in the load up screen of xbox(if no disc is in) and i press on memory to try and copy, the only option i get is delete. And I know that my memory card is in since it lets me personalize it( i named it, as it instructs to)
am i doing something wrong, or is something bust? since i can't seem to copy.
xbox memory card has 502 blocks free, the games save only takes up 100 or so, so that shouldn't be an issue...

that's kinda lame, it works for none of my games... ninja gaiden, dead or alive extreme beach volleyball, sudeki, fable... and none of em work ;p

ftp from your modded xbox to your PC, and then ftp from your PC to your friends house that you want to play them at.

i dont, just got it 2-3 weeks ago and have no idea how to  oh, and i figured out the save game thing,xbox wrote back like today when i just emailed them last night, really quick response there. I was only selecting the game emblem, not the specific save file, so now i can copy it.  Oh and how do I do the ftp thingy leo? that way i can copy my friends dead or alive extreme beach volleyball game since she has like 90 hours put in and all the bathing suits haha, thats the only game i cant copy now.

Question: How difficult is it to mod the xbox for burned games myself?
Also, any recommendations on chip?

There are plenty of solderless chips, the only annoying part of that process is opening the case and mounting a switch. Then after that all you have to do is install a simple OS, which would be simple for you Nict.

need to mod it. well, "suposedly" there are just strictly software mods that are working now. Dont need to buy anything if you have a CD burner and or a DVD burner. Check out xbox-scene.com and or suprnova.
once it's modded, you can do damn near anything with an XBOX. actually modding them takes about $40 and 2 hours of time. More if you up the HD which is recomended.
Unmodded XBOX = aspirin
Modded XBOX = Heroin mixxed with crack

Have a 40 gig hdd just laying around right now, maybe if I get one I'll use it... thanks for the info
