ive been debating for awhile
is the 360 better or ps3?
im a huge fan of halo and guitar hero (which is for both)
but how much is live gold per month/year?

Live is £4/$9 approx. per month, and if im not mistaken they sell 12 month subscriptions for £35 where i live. PS3 network is free iirc, but you pay for what you get imo.

Ps3 is free to use online, whereas Xbox is not. Ps3 has it's fair share of good games, but so does Xbox. It's really up to whether you'd like to spend money per month to play games, or you want to play for free :]

360 has treated me much better, mostly cause the games seem to be funner for it.

I have both systems and prefer the 360 hands down, the game libary is much more wide. I look at my games and I have 22 360 games and 5 ps 3 games, easily enough making 360 a better purchase not to mention features are so much better for me.

I own a PS3 and i dislike the 360. Maybe 360 has more/ better games at the moment, but PS3 is catching up and the 360 has been out longer. I mostly play COD 4 online on my PS3 and i love it, there are no problems with PSN, and the best part is its free, no paying £40 a month. Sure Live is more advanced, but it should be for the price.
It also depends what type of games you like aswell, because there are different games for each console. Hope thats helped.

I dunno i always loved Playstation compared to Xbox but the 360 compared to PS3 is a hard one people say PS3 is too advance and its not really worth getting and PS3 can only release games Microsoft allows it to

As I said before it really comes down to what games you like, xbox has alot more exclusives at this point and all PS 3 has to offer in the next few months is metal gear, 360 is lookin at too human, and ninja gaiden 2 as far as exclusives go. And until december at this point there are no other excluvies till FFXIII and even then there are chances it'll be on 360.

the 360 was recently found to be the console with the highest failure rate of at least 40%, it was so bad that the Xbox 360 creators extended the warranty to 3 years i believe instead of 1

I started out with the xbox 360 and moved over to the ps3 a couple weeks ago, overall im really liking the change and i think the graphics are overall better.

My bud has a ps3 and I have a 360. Honestly..I really like the ps3 when it comes to graphic details..but whn it comes to game..the 360 takes it by far.
