Haha, I see EQ ship is sinking for even the oldest of the old players. I wonder if WoW will really be the "EQ killer" everyone and their pet oyster is hamming it up to be. If so I can duel you again and laugh when I win becuase you ice cometed yourself.

The biggest thing WOW has going for it is that Blizzard doesn't appear to be rushing anything, as opposed to SOE's constant tactic of releasing unfinished expansions and then cockblocking guilds from reaching the final tiers due to "bugs" that they are having trouble replicating.
I also like that they're opening Beta so early before estimated release dates. What's SOE do? Have a beta that runs a few weeks before release, at most. Like they're gonna have time to FIND all the bugs, let alone actually fix them.
Incoming patch to the patch of the patch that fixed the thing in that 3rd patch after we patched in the patch for the Gates of Discord live patch. All servers will be back up "soon". (a.k.a. go to sleep or go out and have fun IRL, cause the game's fek busted for today through next Thursday).

I doubt it will kill EQ. I think only EQ or EQ2 will kill EQ. DnD online or the new Ultima may have a shot, but they are a ways away (Especially DnD online)

EQ is killing itself. Yay for GoD expansion, I want leadership exp and cool aa's so my dinky sk pet can get criticals. Looking forward to WoW.
I want in beta, will trade for your beta account if I don't get in also. I'll post something formal if I don't get in.
