Plus the wireless router into the uplink port or any port of the ethernet router (assuming the internet connection is connected to the ethernet router) if you use just a random port on the ethernet router then you'll need to get a crossover cable to connect between the 2 devices. Then go grab a cheap wireless card and voila you should be good to go.

Chaining two routers may cause weird network segmentation. It's best to have one router and then switches under it. Otherwise you may end up with 2 PCs that are 192.168.1.3 or whatever. My setup is Cable -> Linux -> Cat5 10/100 switch -> Wireless AP (WAP54G). The Linux box serves as NAT/router, DHCP server, and firewall.

I typed out that but then erased it before I posted, I didn't want to confuse the poor guy If he does end up having problems we can get the model AP he's using and see if there's a way to put it into passive mode so that its just acting as an AP w/ NO DHCP and the DHCP comes via the cabled router.

easy solution. get a 4 port wireless router.
its just like your current ethernet router + has wireless access. why would you want 2 routers? 4 wired PC's plus any number of wireless can connect.

You can get wireless routers with ports as well, in fact, do they make them without?
