when i installed my new hard drive into my computer, i also installed win xp... The serial number i downloaded was a 30 day activation key. my 30 days are now up and i cant seem to find another serial number that can activate it. Is it differnt from a regular serial number .. i have winx pro , plz anybody help...

and you will find a thread with a valid key

This is gay, i cannot activate my windows xp yet. Product key and serial number are they same, right. I have tried 11 of those serial numbers and none of them work yet.. guess i will keep trying

All the keys I posted are corporate XP Pro keys...I know at least 10 of them work although I can't remember which ones I used. If you have XP Home, they won't work.

i can't get into to my desktop how am i suppose to follow kbarr's instruction if i can't even get a key that works.

It was Khrath, btw.
I have no idea what you did. I know the keys I posted work. Khrath's do as well. If you can't get it to work, try wiping and starting over.

They dont work an Win XP Pro btw.
I've tried them on Win Xp Pro pre-sp1, sp1 and sp1a and all of them (well like 25-30 of em that i tried  ) say wrong key. Not invaled, but WRONG.
I'm guessing Corporate edition is not the most commonly sold one (my xp CD's are all genuine, just the codes have been used 5 miilions times).
Anyone have a "normal" WinXP pro key.
PS: I think i might also have a problem since the win xp pro i use is european bought. Might those only work with american CD's?

Hmmm...that's strange. I'm pretty sure Corporate keys work with any version of XP Pro. I've used that key list for friends' versions of XP too and they'd always worked just fine. Let me get some other keys and I'll post them in about an hour or two.

Krath i have the exact same verison as you according to my comps properties
The odd thing is, and i'm going to type it precisely again coz it's really weird, is that it's not saying the code has been used to many times which happens with codes that 5 muillioni people use.
It says "invalid" code as if they code doesn't match the windows version.
I'm seriously thinking they have different codes for european based XP then US based. I'm almost curious enough to go buy a Win XP here and use my dutch code
None of the above codes give anything but "invaled" key

Just expect to not be able to patch to Sp2 when it comes out, as all of these will prolly be falgged as 'stolen' or 'bad'.

uh...hi there...anyone. i'm new to this so bear with me. i'm pretty desperate cos i dont know wat the #@*@ to do. I have a fujitsu siemens laptop that was working good till i started trying out some new shit. i installed style XP on it and changed my themes...and other stuff. i also changed the log in window...you know..where u get to type in your password under your user name. i used a new theme(some CIA background) and logged off. now i cant log in anymore cos it doesnt show no where for you to type in your password. it's just the..standby/shutdown/log off window. nothin else.
i tried restartin in safe mode but it just goes back to that bleedin window,even in safe mode. i cant get into my computer no more.
sorry i'm going on but i got a project in there to turn in by thursday and my ass is history if i miss that. i NEED someone to tell me how to bypass that page. what am i gonna do? it was workin fine till i changed the theme...now this new theme has got me stumped. i gotta log in somehow. how do i log into windows going pass that annoyin theme? i've tried safe mode..no luck. i'm not that into computers or i'd try MS-Dos mode or something. HELP anyone! i'd be very much obliged. Mucho mucho obliged. gracias.

go to search under the banner on www.realpoor.com
and type win xp cd key
and you will find a thread with a valid key
I would IM it to ya but yer not on aim.
