They took it out because realworld traders can go out and have someone kill them and take their stuff.

now rs traders just farm gold so it hasnt stopped them one bit
personally i never went wildy so it doesnt bother me, the tradeing REPLACE does though

They got rid of the wilderness for many reasons .. A main reason being the real world traders could get someone to go in , client turns auto off and zing zabam its over with and everyone is happy . Tbh there wasn't a need to take it out bc everyone was happy , Jagex just saw a disadvantage to everyone else .. So they wanted to make it fair . Yet , rwt is still operatable through BH so they really didn't solve anything . Sadly , there isn't anything we can do , riots already occurred and Jagex made a public post saying they know we were upset but their decision remains set and it's way to far in RS to just take away BH and set up the wilderness again .

They done it to stop the RWT
they also got the 3k rule at the same time so im guessing to also stop the rwt from trading in wild (looting)

well good news is that new PvP worlds are coming out where you can PK almost anywhere, so I guess PK can be a good money-maker again, ffs but now my str pure has 80 def cause I though pk was gone for good...
