Agreed!

I tried the shopping thing before, and if you've been in one store, you've been in them all. The Chicago Tower Records doesn't have some super secret Chicago section, if you know what I mean.

What kind of food do you like I could point ya to some good places to goto. There are a million things to do but I prefer to eat and drink rather than waste my time on the hoitie toitie crap.

well, i figure, if i go to FF, i'm gonna wanna go for like a week and tour around the city. i've never been there before and it's dumb to waste the plane ticket on just going for 3 nights for FF.

3 nights is fine for Chicago, imho. It's not like one goes there to soak in the nice weather for a week or anything.

Although the weather rocks in September if yer into that kinda thing. If you golf there are some awsome courses around. Chicago offers a little of everything.

Eat Pizza! Actually I went to Chicago for a high school trip and the memorable things were the pizza and going up to the observation deck in the sears tower. There's an aquarium we went to that was pretty cool, we went shopping in the expensive stores and the girls tried on $11,000 fur coats :p Went to the hard rock cafe and rock and roll mcdonald's which were both fairly lame. This was like 12 years ago though.

Ed Debevic's is cool, I can't imagine anybody here wouldn't enjoy the atmosphere. There's nothing like getting 20 forks thrown at you when you ask for one Razz

Gino's East is good pizza too!

I prefer Steak ... which if you are like me goto... Chop House, Gene and Georgetties, Morton's, there is one other one I like but the name eludes me.

Goto Tavern on Rush there is usually some fine women there but drinks are an arm and a leg.

Millers Tavern.

Nothin like a 20 ounce prime rib if ya want food.

Shopping? Bleh same shit diff city really. Pay lil more it here is all.

Bars? Talk to Maraya, she used to manage the China Club. Goin club hoppin with her is like a vip ticket. Free drinks , no door anywhere ya go.

Got a kink? Alot of off the beaten path clubs around that will blow yer mind.

Bortak

PS: Ed Debev's is the shit for vanilla and weirdo's alike. Can can on yer table as yer order arrives when ya rush the waiter owns all.

One thing I miss about living in Chicago are the authentic polish restaurants and deli's. Virtually non existant in California and on west coast for that matter. WTB good polish food!!!
