Im working with a style sheet that has the color #666 on it but I can't figure out what is in hex.. anyone know?

666 is the color of the Beast, obviously.
Aren't "web colors" sort of obsolete by now? Does anyone still have 8 bit color? Or are you doing a page for cellphones or something like that?

It's shorthand in css, which translates to #66666, which is a dark turqoise. For instance, color:#ffcc00 = color:#fc0.
Shorthand is very usefull when you .css files get large, usually when you use css based layouts instead of tables, and some other more creative uses of css.
