watch out for this guy + a couple tips to not get scammed

TIPS AT BOTTOM OF PAGE!!

this guy ims me saying that he has a lock, i ask for a name for the armory he takes like 3 min to give me one, then there is like 50 under the name so i ask for the server, he says hold on and waits another 3 mins, then gives me a guys with like 3/5 warlord set, had like all epics besides one blue, i didnt believe him for a second. so i go along and i believe he is going to scam me, so he supposedly puts my email on the account, i go to check, nothing on the email besides my own account, i was about to confront him then he blocks me, then unblocks me and says im a scammer, then pretty much admits that he was trying to scam me!!

a couple tips to watch out for when anyone is trading


1. ask to see ingame, no ingame means no security, the guy probably looked the character up on the armory
2.if the guy says he has multiple end level accounts is very scammerish #1 help u out with this, usually when someone has a "couple more" end level accounts that usually means he looked up a couple chars on armory that he will show u.
3. its very good to check out eachothers account(not showing eachother ingame, but actually on the account) dont worry if u no the s/a cause ur email and phone number are on the account!!!
4. when u start to trade use the forgot account name feature right above the forgot password feature,(blizz will send u a email with all the accounts u have on the email) make sure its the one u logged into
5. thats a couple really good hints i can give u!! the rest is up to you!! hopefully this helps you and you will be able to not get scammed, its not fun and a pain in the a*s to get the account back!!

just to tell everyone, my account was not scammed because of my precautions but beware please!! and follow some of the tips, they can save your account!! believe me i was scammed a couple of times, i was able to get the account back luckily!! =)

but i got scammed when i trusted everyone. DO NOT TRUST ANYONE THAT YOUR NOT COMFORTABLE TRADING WITH!! something to make you more comfortable get on vent and just talk, preferably while showing eachother ingame just to get to know eachother and you both can answer any questions about that char! another way to gain trust is give eachother ur phone numbers, that way u can contact eachother!! this does not guarentee he is not a scammer, texting him and him texting u back will prove that he is not on a disposable cell phone!! BUT THIS IS NOT A FULL GUARANTEE, there is a little tool people can use where they call there phone companys to have a number blocked, dont u think a scammer will use that tool? i think they would if they ever gave u there number in the first place! just becareful, there are alot of ways to get scammed, and never think it wont happen to you!!
