Pioneer 506XDE, AMAZING quality watching DVD's and streams from computer,

I love threads where everyone decries someone else's purchase decisions. The reason there are so many products is because everyone is different.

And that TV owns.

why? the image quality for one is def NOT the same. Plasma > projector (unless you mean read projection TV , then yes it's about the same)
Not to mention having to hang up a screen, a projector in the MIDDEL OF MY f*****g LIVING ROOM Razz

I got rid of my rear projection TV ( the small part of it to the left you can still see) coz it was just to much into the room.
same reason i'm getting rid of the cabinet under my equipment..to bulky

Plus, sadly in europe theres not a big TV craze as in the US. this is the biggest screen size (50inch) you can get without having to pay upwards of 17k Sad

Nothing to do, Id love to have such a TV but I dont watch TV and love TV to the point of spending so much cash for one like that.

I seemed to already have a decent TV why waste a few thousands $$$$ for a new one when the current one if working fine?
Sounds pretty silly to me.

I for myself rather save my cash and wait for my equipment to stop working before buying something new. THEN I can go for something nice if I want to without chocking myself for months after.

Then again...yes that TV looks neat..but is it realy worth the price other then to be able to brag to friends : hey hey look at my new TV I can hook it to the wall!

Sorry If I have some cash to spend ill put in it bank in save account etc.. have use that money later on. I wont spend it on a new TV when my current one works fine just to impress the world.

Unlike you i'm not interested to impress the world every second step i make Razz
I am a movie lover (as evidenced by the DVD's surround said tv), thus i put great value on having a good medium to watch them on and a good sound system to listen to em aswell.
My old TV, albeit in perfect working order, was 7+ years old, bulky and in the way.
I dont think replacing a TV every 7 odd years is over the top.

And like you, i have money in the bank for emergencies and luckily some extra to cover toys like this.
But then again, i'm not a retarded canadian who can barely communicate with the world, pretends to have girlfriends and a lot of money just to IMPRESS the worldl Smile

PS: i didn't post this to brag to the world, i posted this coz i have been harassing these forums the past month (mostly Tamena YOU ROCK) for tips on a good Tv. Hence i thought posting what i bought was only appropriate.
