holy shit man, i downloaded the last samurai off a torrent, just a 700 meg file, and at like 2 1/2 hours, I figure the quality is going to be total shit, especialy since it comes with french and english audio tracks.
Anyways, I start watching this shit, and I swear to god it's dvd quality.
Some mkv file using the realvideo9 codec, i'm like...holy f**k man
s***w downloading 4 gig files for dvd rips anymore =p

What's the best and most widely used video compression codec these days? Xvid still considered tops?
I gotta re do a lot of Band of Brother files cuz the audio got f****d.
