the grudge didn't do shit for me either, I laughed when the guy fell off the balcony (thus causing a few others in the theatre to, as well).
In all, the movie wasn't impressive at all.

Even though it stank i did think it had some scary moments. It was like a s****y MA movie with a couple good fight scenes. How much more can you expect out of the genre?
Besides 'Seven' and 'The Exorcist" has there ever been a non crappy horror movie? Not that I know of.

I wouldn't call Seven a horrow movie...It was more of a drama/mystery imo.
