They always do that. But you have to be careful, can't have the kiddies hearing the word 'f**k!'

And just something I found interesting. Comedy Centeral showed a movie about pot, and yet they edited out "I used to suck d**k for coke"?

i have the specs on zyban... that is all the side effects.

i think someone from this board posted these side effects:

Zyban may cause severe side effects including but not limited to:

Cramps, nausea, anal leakage, weak gums, slight mental retardation, stunted growth, vomiting, severe explosive diahrreah, exploding of the orbital socket, artificial insemination, pre-mature birth, Rickets, Tourretts Syndrome, idiocy, malnutrion, Bubonic Plague, heightened awareness about dogs having **** with cats, Nuclear war, and bad breath. Do not use Zyban on anyone with blond hair, or all their teeth. Zyban may cause severe drowsiness within 2 to 8 seconds of use. The moon will appear to shake for a period of 4 years after initial dose and patient will continually bleed from both eyes.

If urge to smoke does not abate, return unopened package to company for 10% refund.

Zyban is illegal in most countries.

It's about a bunch of detention students serving saturday detention, and their interaction with each other. I knew what it was about before i actually got to see it. I think i will be purchasing the DVD, too see what i missed out on

This is one of my top ten fave movies, ever. It stars the "brat pack"--young actors/actresses who mostly made a name for themselves at that time in teen angst movies (1980s).

In grad school, I had to use The Breakfast Club and relate it to group therapy practice and principle. It was an interesting assignment and I wrote a damned good analysis of it.

Even tho I was already way older than those kids were at the time the movie came out, I was able to (and still can) relate to many of the issues they talked about--parental relationships (and the lack thereof), the whole "class" or "clique" situations in school, etc.

Great soundtrack, as well!

The detention group was basically an allstar jock, a snobby rich girl, a strange tweaker girl, a stoner/rocker guy (best description I could think up) and a nerdy, freshman type of boy.

They have all day together and they have to somehow relate to one another. Pretty good movie.

The worst thing about people who've never seen the Breakfast Club is watching them pretend to laugh at parodies or referances =/

I forced a buddy to watch it after he laughed along with us at the end of that Family Guy episode where Peter walks off across the football field, fist raised in the air a la John Bender (Nelson Judd)

I think that scene will forever pop up in my memory every time I hear that particuliar Simple Minds tune.
