FORUM RULES

Read this rules carefully. Your use of REALPOOR.COM site is specifically governed by these rules. You automatically agree to these terms when you register, access or use our board. Breaching the rules means that REALPOOR.COM staff may take necessary actions, including temporary suspensions or permanently restrictions of access to users and/or their associated IP addresses.

General Rules:

General rules imply on usage of all forums on REALPOOR.COM discussion board, including general, gaming and trading forums.

1) Account Rule

Member can have only one account on REALPOOR.COM. Having another account is not allowed and anyone who has two or more accounts will be banned from REALPOOR.COM. If you forgot your username and/or your password, do not create another account. Contact REALPOOR.COM staff and your account/password information will be retrieved, or you’ll be allowed to create another account, after deactivating the old one.

2) Posting/Replying Rule

When posting or replying on REALPOOR.COM, members must respect each other. Flaming, harassing, threatening, violent, malicious or any other form of offensive posts will result in warning, temporary suspension or permanently restriction of access for users that created such post. If you feel you have been a victim of a post which violates this rule, do not go further in discussion. Report the violator to the REALPOOR.COM moderator/administrator instead.

3) Post Content Rule

Posts on REALPOOR.COM forums should not contain abusive, violent, obscene or sexually oriented material. Also, posts should not contain vulgar words or swearing. Posts should not promote and advocate hate speech, racial or ethnic hatred, or contain personal attacks or insults. Posts with a content that may offend majority of REALPOOR.COM forum members shall be edited or deleted by REALPOOR.COM moderator or administrator. Creators of such posts will be warned, suspended or banned depending on severity and/or repetition of violation.

4) Search Rule

Members should use Search option before opening new topic. It’s possible that someone already opened topic with same subject. A search option helps you to find discussion or trading topics that might interest you. Always post in an existing topic, rather than opening a new one with same subject. Posting a topic that already has already been posted may be deleted or merged with the existing one.

5) Advertising Spam Rule

Members are only allowed to advertise their accounts or items within trading forums, or own trades made at REALPOOR.COM using signatures. You should not post any other advertising/spam material in the forum. This includes, but not limited to: (a) posts which only purpose is to advertise certain site or products using site or product name or direct link, (b) any “selling something” posts irrelevant to REALPOOR.COM forum and/or (c) posts with the information for user’s own benefit that has no relevance to the topic. Such material will be deleted without warning and their posters will be permanently banned from REALPOOR.COM.

Posts considered as spam will be deleted and violators will be warned, suspended or banned depending on severity and/or repetition of violation.

6) Avatar Rule

Members’ avatars cannot contain any violent or abusive material, any sexually oriented material or material that could offend majority of REALPOOR.COM forum members. If members have such avatar, their will be warned to remove it. If members disobey to remove offensive avatar their will be suspended or banned depending on severity and/or repetition of violation.

7) Signature rule

Signature CANNOT contain:

  • an offer to buy, sell or exchange account or any other virtual item, as well as other items that may be subject of the trade.
  • your contact information, including, but not limited to, your email address, your instant messenger, chat server or any other method of communication outside of REALPOOR.COM.
  • link to trade on other web sites.

Signatures CAN contain:

  • link to your active trading topic on REALPOOR.COM
  • your account information on other sites, including other discussion boards
  • your game account information
  • vouches from other members
  • images, not linkable, except if they link to allowed content mentioned above
  • Members who misuse signature will be warned to remove it. If members disobey to remove offensive signature their will be suspended or banned depending on severity and/or repetition of violation.

8) Link Rule

Direct link to other sites or products, or software downloads are not allowed in posts. When posting a link, you should include a link without http:// or www.

This rule excludes posting links to your REALPOOR.COM trade in another REALPOOR.COM topic or to you armory, game account page or other information that might be useful for your trading process.

9) Credit Spam Rule

Credits are required for trading and members could earn them by posting in general forums. Members could post brief replies in certain conditions, including, but not limited to: (a) if topic or referred post(s) require so or (b) if their other posts are not written in similar fashion.

Brief replies will be considered as credit spam if posts repeat containing ONLY:

  • One word
  • Image emoticon (or smiley)
  • Verbal description of emoticon or emotion (LOL, LMAO, WTF,…)
  • Short phrases of agreement, disagreement, approval or disapproval (I agree, You’re wrong,…)
  • Quoted post of another members without genuine content
  • Credit violators will be warned, suspended or banned depending on severity and/or repetition of violation. Their credit count will be reduced to amount corresponding the number of disputable posts, and their opened trades will be canceled or deleted.

10) Private Messaging Rule

Private messaging is important feature on REALPOOR.COM. After initial bid have been accepted in trading topic, members should exchange their account names, contact information, as well as all other info necessary for successful completion of trading process. Private messages are useful method for quick exchange of information on REALPOOR.COM.

Members should not use private messages for:

  • Sending their bids, without posting in trading topic first
  • Sending advertising spam, malicious links, chain letters or similar solicitations
  • Threatening, harassing, or insulting other REALPOOR.COM members
  • Members who misuse REALPOOR.COM private messaging system will be warned, suspended or banned depending on severity and/or repetition of violation.

11) Vouches Rule

Members can vouch each other for successful and completed trades, tutorials or other services on REALPOOR.COM. Vouches could be placed into members signatures, within QUOTE tags with username of member who gives vouches.

REALPOOR.COM takes no responsibility for validity or accuracy of these vouches. Vouches don’t guarantee that certain person is reputable or safe trader. You use vouches as a reference for trading at your own risk. Although they might be useful feedback for certain member, vouches don’t guarantee safe trade.

12) Privacy Rule

If you choose to post personal information about yourself, including real name, address, phone number, email, your IP address or other information that may compromise your privacy, you are doing it at your own risk. REALPOOR.COM staff, although not being obliged to do so, will try to edit or remove all private information posted, since we do not encourage this kind of activities. Also, REALPOOR.COM takes no responsibility for anything that may happen outside of this board that could be related to misuse of private information. MEMBERS SHOULD NOT POST OTHER MEMBERS’ PRIVATE INFORMATION ON REALPOOR.COM. Violators of this rule will be warned, suspended or banned depending on severity and/or repetition of violation.

Basic Trading Rules

Trading rules imply on usage of all trading forums and their relevant subcategories on REALPOOR.COM discussion board. General rules are also applied on all trading forums and their relevant subcategories on REALPOOR.COM discussion board.

1) Fair Use of Trading System

By utilizing REALPOOR.COM Trading System, users agree to the following usage conditions:

Any information or your activities in Trading System SHALL NOT:
(a) be false, inaccurate or misleading;
(b) be fraudulent or involve the sale of counterfeit or stolen items;
(c) involve the misuse of copyrighted material;
(d) be defamatory, trade libelous, unlawfully threatening or unlawfully harassing;
(e) be obscene or contain child pornography, including any involving minors;
(f) contain any viruses, Trojan horses, worms, time bombs or any other malicious software;
(g) link directly or indirectly to other sites

REALPOOR.COM Staff can take necessary actions, without prior notice, in case that fair use conditions are breached, including warning, temporary suspensions or permanently restrictions of access to users and/or their associated IP addresses.

2) Posting New Trade

REALPOOR.COM trading section is divided into categories in order to simplify search and listing of trades. Trading section contains following categories: World of Warcraft Trading Zone, Runescape Trading Zone, General Trading Zone, Hardware Trading Zone and Software & Games Trading Zone. Each category contains following trading forums: Buy, Sell and Exchange.

Make sure you are posting in the right forum:

  • If you have account/virtual item to SELL be sure to place your topic in SELL forum. This category is designed for selling your accounts and items for real money. Not for EXCHANGE for other game items or game money.
  • If you want to EXCHANGE your account or some item for other account, item or for some game money, place your offer in EXCHANGE forums, not in SELL or BUY forum.
  • If you want to BUY (for real money) accounts, items, game currency, place your bid in BUY section, not in SELL or EXCHANGE forums.
  • If you want to Buy/Sell/Exchange items and accounts for Runescape, place your bids in Runescape Trading Zone in appropriate forum.
  • If you want to Buy/Sell/Exchange items and accounts for World of Warcraft place your bids in World of Warcraft Trading Zone in appropriate forum.
  • If you want to Buy/Sell/Exchange items and accounts for other MMORPGs place your bids in General Trading Zone in appropriate forum.
  • If you want to Buy/Sell/Exchange hardware, place your bids in Hardware Trading Zone in appropriate forum.
  • If you want to Buy/Sell/Exchange software, games, DVDs, place your bids in Software & Games Trading Zone in appropriate forum.

DO NOT:
(a) place trading offers for one game in another\'s game forum
(b)post your trading offers in forums other than trading forums (General, Gaming, etc.)
ALL TRADES PLACED IN WRONG CATEGORY OR FORUM WILL BE DELETED WITHOUT WARNING!

3) Posting Reply in Trade

Members should always use Bid option in their replies in trades, except if their reply is just an inquiry about the subject of trade (account or other virtual item) in case that Trade poster didn’t provide enough details in the initial post.

4) Trade Format

Post your trading threads and posts within trading categories using WTB (Want To Buy - BUY Items), WTT (Want To Trade - EXCHANGE Items) or WTS (Want To Sell - SELL Items) notifications in your trade title. Also, add as much other details as possible, such as account info, level, and all other information that might be useful to other traders.

All mentioned simplifies the search process and listing of trades, which means that other traders would find your trade much faster.

Also, do not post unrealistic prices in your trades, as well as unrealistic time of your trade’s end date.

5) Finishing Trade

After you receive acceptable bid for your account, virtual item or any other subject of trade, you should finish your trade using options available in each topic.

Each trade should be closed after completion using SOLD or CANCELED option manually or automatically, depending on the trade itself.

After the trade is finished, trade shouldn’t be left with IN PROGRESS status. This means that you still receive offers, and this status may mislead members.

Also, do not close successful trade using CANCELED status because you lose your trading credits.

Be sure that, if you’ve traded successfully, close the trade using IN PROGRESS status first. After that, when you receive the money or other trading currency, close it again with SOLD status or CANCELED if you didn\'t receive payment.

If your account is posted for sale on REALPOOR.COM, but you’ve sold it using other service or site, DO NOT finish trade on REALPOOR.COM using SOLD option. Use CANCELED instead.

6) Hijacking Trades

Do not hijack others’ trading topics by posting your own trades in them. Hijacking means when member post own account for sale/buy in others’ selling/buying topic. In exchange topics members could post their own bids for exchange, but only to topic creator, not to other bidders. Sending exchange, buy or sell bids to members other than topic creator will be considered as hijacking. Hijackers will be warned, suspended or banned depending on severity and/or repetition of violation.

7) Credit Rule

Members need trading credits for opening the trade. Trading credits will be acquired through your activities on the forum and sometimes through the trade itself.

Current Credit Rules Setup:

  • 3 posts is worth 1 credits
  • 1 published article is worth 5 credits
  • 10 days from registration is worth 1 credit
  • 1 trade with Sold! status is worth 0 credits
  • 1 trade with Canceled status is worth -1 credit
  • 1 trade costs 3 credits

REALPOOR.COM may change this setup without notice. If you continue to use our discussion boards after such changes have been made, you automatically accept those changes.

The efficient and fast way to earn credits is through posting on REALPOOR.COM General and Gaming forums. However, members should not spam boards in order to get credits. This is known as Credit Spam. For more information about Credit Spam refer to Rule 9) in General Rules section.

8) Posting Contact Information

In order to offer more secure trades, no e-mails, instant messaging services or any other method of communication outside of REALPOOR.COM should be posted during trading communication. For private talk members should use our Private Messaging system

9) Reporting Bad/Unfair Trade

Members can use Report Bad/Unfair trade if some of the following occurs:

a) Other member placed a bid in your trading topic, but hasn’t responded further to complete the trade after you accepted the bid. If member who posted a bid, haven’t responded after 48 hours after bid has been made, you have right to report it.
b) Member who opened a trade ignored your bid and completed the trade, although you are the only bidder in that topic and your bid met required price that trade creator has set.
b) Member looks suspicious. Be sure to post reasons why you think so. For example if member is selling Level 145 Account, although the highest level is 120, or if member is posting fake pictures, or duplicated trades from other members, etc.
c) Member violated one of the forum rules
a) You’ve been scammed. Be sure to post the links to screenshots of your PM conversation with violator within the report. Also, post a topic in Hall of Shame forum entitled with a name of a member who scammed you with all proof enclosed.

10) Reporting Scam

Your reports must be opened in the Hall of Shame forum. You must enclose following:

  • topic name must contain username of the member you’ve been reporting
  • link to the topic where trade has occurred
  • screenshots of your RealPoor private message communication
  • screenshots of you payment process
  • screenshots of your outside conversation via messenger
  • every other proof where scam can be clearly viewed

Do not post accusation topics if you don’t have any proof. Listing someone as a scammer in Hall of Shame without evidence is not allowed and REALPOOR.COM staff will take action in such case.

Copy/Paste messenger conversation will not be considered as a proof

Screenshots of Instant messenger communication or any other method of communication outside of REALPOOR.COM discussion boards posted without screenshots of REALPOOR.COM Private Messages and link where the trade has been initiated, will not be considered as a proof.

If someone else posted an accusation against certain member with valid proof, do not respond to support this claims, unless you have valid proof as well. Otherwise you’ll be suspended accordingly.

If you’ve been accused for scam and you failed to respond after 48 hours or after you’ve been notified by administrator or moderator, you’ll be considered as guilty and banned and listed as a scammer with all of your contact info.

IMPORTANT: REALPOOR.COM Staff is not obliged to conduct any investigation regarding scam accusations, but may do so if valid proof is provided. REALPOOR.COM is not responsible for any property or money loss or any other damage that could be caused by trades, exchanges or transactions on REALPOOR.COM.

MODIFICATION OF TERMS

REALPOOR.COM may revise these terms and rules, both General and Trading without prior notice. If you continue to use our discussion boards after such changes have been made, you automatically accept those changes.
