there has been a song in the back of my mind for some time and now I cant get it out until I hear it. I was hoping to get it from KaZaA or something.. it's an "old school" techno song, its by a group named Nocturne?? and it's called something like Anastasia or Anasthesia.

Does this help anyone? I used to be into this music... almost 10 years ago.. g*****n I feel old

Dude, what the f**k.

You can't be in "The Clique" if you like groups that call themselves Groupo Sportivo. It's just... not cool.

Do you remember them? The were sort of like a cross between They Might be Giants and Abba - sort of a parody, but their songs were hysterical. Can I still be in the clique?

No I don't. Thankfully. I mean ABBA alone is the devil. Let alone something like it.

But ok. I will forgive you this time! Plus if you leave The Clique, I'll be all alone in it and that would kind of suck.

GOOD techno is not repetitive ad ininitum.

Any musical piece has repetition. Refrain anyone?
Even your highly loved RnB, musical craphola and such has repetition.
Old mellow, trance technoish crap is TO repetitive...

My shit...the good shit..is only repetitive in the refrain or "catch tune",which makes it so popular..

............whorelestra!

Detroit is the birthplace of techno.

I believe Aviger is referring to 'euro-cheese.'

Oh I should've answered Nah's question:

Nocturne - Anasthasia

may be what you're looking for... some old stuff there

Of course techno's musical roots come from classical, but the evolution mostly occurred here. Nobody else was spinning that kind of music 25-30 years ago.

T99 is very familiar sounding for some reason. That may very well be it.

I will check it when I get home I cant here because of the firewall

so Im gathering that Nocturne is another song, by the same artist that did Anasthasia.. this is awesome.. I would have never remembered this on my own.
