When I was little , i use to watch my dad Dj. the last time I saw him spin was in europe at the age of 4. HE had to quit because of drugs ( f*****g idiot) but ever since then i wanted to become a dj.
Well aside from being a Customer services rep, I just landed a job as a promoter for www.mixology.com . Mixology Ent Is a big company in TX that throws parties/rave. If i work hard enough promoting ( which isn't hard to do) I might be able to land a spot on their roster as a DJ !!!
The road will be tough but I got to stick to my dream ..  ..

Your dad had the right idea. Get f****d up while you can. Careers, success, and money are for losers. Just look at Kbarr and WheresNWS.

Only the real good ones. It's expensive to book some dj's to play for a night .
The really good ones like Jeff mills ,Gene Farrirs ect can cost like over 1,000 a night ..

Totally. Until you hit 30 and you're starting out in life while my mortgage is paid for and I'm taking 3 vacations a year.

Yes...owning a home is just so very materialistic.
I quickly realized at a young age that debt is a modern form of indentured servitude. As long as you owe money you have to work. Just about everyone owes something on their mortgage. Just about everyone has to work.

well i agree that debt really is a downer, but I believe that there's good debt (i.e. student loans) versus bad debt (credit cards). you can use the repayment of student loans to establish credit, get your house and cars without back breaking interest and the like. I dunno, call me crazy, but I'm currently 11k in debt to my fabulous university and it doesn't bother me in the least, as i know i will be able to get a job where i can afford to repay the cost of my education.

I think happiness is the most important thing to look at here, and not everyone is happy working a serious job as soon as they possibly can.
