I blame janet. because of her, we're doomed to watching halftime shows full of people nobody would ever want to see naked, singing songs made before most people were born. =(

Paul McCartney was the halftime show.
It was easily one of the better halftime shows in a while. I'm sick of hip hop wanna be gangsters and white people who think they are black.

When he came on, I prayed he'd sing Live and Let Die.
It was the highlight of his show, yay!

Themy and I, along with our friends, ordered the girls gone wild halftime show because we couldn't get the Lingerie bowl on his dish network. It was much better than the one the real superbowl had I assure you. Team Pink couldn't pull it off in the end, but team blue had some decent prospects I must say.

My wife was quoted as saying, "Isn't that a Guns n' Roses song he's singing?"

It was boring. My one thought was that his voice still sounded pretty good for a guy his age. And you can't not like the Beatles, but honestly it was like doing a big fireworks show to elevator music. It made me feel kind of sad.

Live and Let Die is among the list of songs that should never be remade. It's a classic... and it's too bad GnR had fallen to the point where they had to release a remake to get some airplay. A band should pack it in before that.

Personally I enjoyed the pre-game concert with Charlie Daniels doing Devil Went Down To Georgia. That song rocks and watching him use that fiddle was very cool too.
