Nobody is f*****g talking about it so I mind as well spill the beans. TR officers are running the biggest Ebay scam ever on SH. They use the guild to farm EQ and trade items and a select few make a killing on selling the shit and plat on e-bay.
So heres how the story goes as I understand it.
Cinder gets tipped off off by someone and finds out guild mules run by Alusnova, Vigilyn, and Jolin (all TR officers) are selling millions of PLAT worth of items in bazaar secretly. He then finds out that Alusnova is some character Cheapplat on playerauctions selling megaplat for cash on SH. He gets the proof on alusnova first, and gets other people in TR to witness it. He busts Alusnova in public, posts the proof online and throws him out of the guild. Then gets ass f****d by people in the guild for making drama.
Then get this. CINER tells us he knew Alusnova was E-baying for 6 months but didn't do anything about it for the good of the guild. What a load of b******t. Can you say $$$$$$$$.
Then they get the b******t excuse that he is e-baying his own stuff. Alusnova sold what looks like over 10 million in platinum that he farmed himself between raid times.
It gets even better. Then he makes 50 elemental bows (these bows sell for over 150,000 plat each) and they DISAPPEAR. I f*****g asked for a bow and was told to my face 15RoP or I had to pay the guildbank 150kpp. Where the f**k am I gonna get 150Kpp when all the shit I farm goes to the GUILDBANK and back in to the officers Pocket. Not to mention friends of Alusnova got bows on loan, did they ever pay for em or get charged RoP... NO. When I ask though it's "ask me later" or I get charged for it.
So where did the Bows all go ? $$ CASH $$ They get moved to other servers and sold there for cash through the SH underground. Oh but Ciner promised to look in to it, did he ? f**k no $$$$$$$
So get this. Then what do we do ? We invite him back in to the guild, give him back officer status and ask him to please not loot at raids. HOLY f**k
So much shit disappeared from the guildbank its pathetic. The whole f*****g guild knows it was Alusnova, Vigilyn, Jolin, and Ciner in on it but noone wants to talk about it because all they want is for us to get to plane of time at any cost. Plus if anyone says anything they get booted from the guild for creating drama.
When I came to the server I stayed away from leviathan because of the ebaying that guild did. Was well known with some of the people in guild. Now I feel stupid because TR is no better.
These guys are running a good business. You think Ciner is f*****g stupid. Ya, he knew Alusnova was Ebaying millions and millions of Platinum, using other characters in guild to make insanely expensive Items from the planes and selling em, and he just didn't want to say anything for the benefit of the guild. b******t
CINER DO YOU THINK WE ARE STUPID. You are running a business off of my f*****g work. That is MY SHIT that is being sold for cash.
Vigilyn runs the board and the RoP system. f*****g guy disapears for months and then comes back and is all set. Nice officer. guy has more power than anyone in guild and puts it to good use, by running a BUSINESS selling the shit with the other officers.
What you f***s don't realize is we talk about it all the time, its in almost every group chat I'm in. In Earth over the weekend all we did was make a comment every time a trade skill item was looted. Lining the officers pockets. The reason noone posts anything or says anything is because we have RoP invested and want to spend it.
Has anyone seen any JC items out of earth. f*****g wicked rings, and hundreds of components dropped, looted by alusnova and Jolin and were made secretly on enchanters they had access to. Anyone seen even ONE of them ? f**k no, they were moved off server and sold for mega plat and converted to cash.
Where the f**k did Jolin come from anyway. Jolin is WULIN, the officer banned for using Show EQ. All of a sudden Wulin comes back playing Jolin, a fairly decked Warrior that he BOUGHT. Gotta play or can't work in the guild business I guess.
BTW TR wants to recruit more evals so they can also help feed the $$$$$ machine. Why we are recruiting I have no f*****g clue. Half the people in earth recently were AFK or leaching RoP.
Then we are told straight up the guild is over once SWG comes out. WTF am I doing here. With the way things are going by the time we hit POT, the only people that will be looting are Ciner and a few high RoP people that keep hoarding their points. Then the guild is finished and all I've done, along with 50 other Sheep, is PAY our officers to take advantage of us. And f**k we payed them well.

Ok now we all went through the drama last night and Alusnova is back in guild,I don't know what to think and have some questions for him.
1. Ciner said he has know Alusnova has been Ebaying for 6 months,I want to know what username Alusnova has been Ebaying stuff under.I was also under the impression that Ebay does not pay in this guild,IE we don't take people who buy characters uber them up sell them,sell items pp or use guild funds/items to enrich themselves at our expense.
2.Dryrott reports that 100 bow cams are missing roughly enough to make 50+ elemental bows. I want to know where they went to.I think I speak for many when I say I wanted one of the elemental bows for fights like Fennin ro and others in the future,I was under the impression few were made availible.Where did the bow cams go?I have heard reports of earth bows going for 400kpp
3.If alusnova is the one selling all the Millions of PP I want to know where he got it from.
4.Also alot of tradeskill items are missing,some player made rings are missing.Do we have a guild bank or a revolving door.
Ok i've had my say,I have alot of questions and I know others have similar ones,I could care less if some fool in Levi was ebaying out his ass but i'm concerned when someone many respected in the Guild is found to be selling the fruits of our labors.
I don't know,it threatens to tear us as a guild apart,I for one just want to kill the "unkillible" and have fun.But this game is also about trust. I trust the officers are looking out for my intrests,and that of my fellow guildmates.I just want a fair shake like most of you a chance to improve my character get some nice loot,like the Elemental bows.If I found out my officers or certain factions were using the efforts of all the enhance the chosen few I would feel betrayed.
Solutions?
Some superficial actions,maybe have one looter,Cinder for example or Ciner that takes down a record of all tradeskill items and other high plat items and puts it on our board,If you want a Elemental bow or AoW loot it gets posted who took what when and why(soandso wanted Airbow was charged 200 rop Guildfletcher made it from xcomponets which were removed from guild database)..et cetera
Also we need to know what our New Guild policies are Ebaying Ok now? Shouldn't we have a code of conduct for members?
We need as members to know what is going on.
That would go toward trust,because when you can't trust your leaders everything falls apart.

I don't mean to be rude or a pain but the officers can see this from a different perspective than most of the members cause we know all the facts involved.
Like you said we are too close to the end of Everquest to give ourselves huge drama or to reform the entire guild over. I really urge you to let the Alusnova situation go and move forward; no good can come of it, it is one of the worst things to ever happen to the guild.
We have opened up recruiting and will guild a bunch of evals. We need to bulk up, not just in light of SWG (which I think will kill EQ) but also due to the decay of our burned out members.
We are looking for potential officers to get new blood in the mix, but its a real pain in the ass cause their are these requirements we look for:
- Plays everyday at least, and I mean every single day
- Is accepted by entire guild, noone would object to some great extent
- Is calm, cool, collected and loyal - wont just vanish on the guild
- Is very vocal, silent officers are easy to find
- Has been in the guild for a good period of time so the new and old me members can both respect
Currently we only have one person in mind for an officer in the near future, but are actively searching.

Just because Ciner doesn't want to make a "Big deal" out of it because EQ is gonna get hit hard by SWG soon is no f*****g excuse to take my time and turn it in to your money.
I know this post will get me booted from the guild. Anyone that threatens the flow of cash gets "dealt with". I have invested huge time and I intend to get at least some of it back in Equipment that I've earned.
I just wanted people to know whats going on and Vigilyn, Alusnova, Ciner, Jolin, we aren't stupid. I'll regret this in the morning but who gived a f**k.

I read that yesterday, to summarize for the lazy:
A small band of officers in Township Rebellion smuggled items and plat off the server and sold it for $$$. They got caught after several dozen elemental bows vanished, and the person who had been stealing from the guildbank was kicked out, and later brought back as an officer.
I think the saddest part about the whole thing is the "We want to get to Plane of Time at any cost!" remark. Oh yeah, and the part about the whole guild getting screwed.

If I were in a guild and the leaders were hoarding in game loot, I wouldn't care, because from my perspective it's ultimately just a game *cringes from the certain backlash for that statement* But if I were in a guild whose officers were running a scam, making actual real hard cash from my work,and I found out, I'd be kicking some major ass. I'd be getting their accounts banned, tracking them down IRL, dude, I'd be p****d.
If these guild members had any balls they'd kick these guys out, get their accounts banned, and not look back. But nooo.. sheep to the slaughter, they wanna be part of something big, an "uber" guild. Man if I were in a guild using me like that, I'd make sure the splatter stains hit every member of that guild. I wouldn't care if it were ED, BC or FOH!. And anyone who lets a guild make them their b***h like that is a f*****g idiot!
If anyone has any justification for allowing it to happen, please, feel free to correct me. But I don't see any legitimate reason, save just being part of a major guild, which there are plenty of legitimate guilds that don't profit from other members... blah blah blah

*edit* ill reclarify my statement. yes, ed does sell some gear for pp to buy peris coffins and so on. however, the shit they sell is outdated equip that no one needs or will use. if you think they are selling elemental crafted items and armour, go check it out. youll see im right, they dont. will they eer start selling it to the public? once everyone that needs has it or better, im sure they will. just like everything else that gets outdated.
as far as the initial statement of lining their pockets, no, they are not selling items for RL cash.

It happens in every game off big guilds, no doubt greed owns all.
As for what whats his name says, sure they may be feeding you guys loots in order to keep you competitive but when shit is sold that is "outdated", Where do those hundreds of thousands of pp go? Not saying ED is doing it, I have no proof and I dont care as it doesnt affect me, but its shit to think about.
Think about the ebay you can do when you have Asheron call size guilds numbering in the hundreds, that must be insane moneys granted the shit in AC or AC2 isnt valued as high as EQ items.
anyway my point is if you think your high end guild isnt paying the rent of the officers, keep an eye on the loots and see how fast shit thats not no drop and isnt awarded diappears.

Mael, you're a f*****g moron. If anyone was caught pulling that shit in our guild they would be out the door on their ass so fast their head would spin I'm sure. Lots of our guildies need bows still including Twigglet! It's sad that this happened. I am in game friends with a few of their members and I feel bad for them and hope they don't quit over this

I heard it from more then 1 old ED memeber and theydont need to lie about this, but if you are both too stupid to figure this then...
When I changed from server I saw the same shit on 2 guild on Torv, often memebers finds out cause they ask for stuff...like hey were did it go? do you still have it in bank???
Guilds like ED make toons of bank stuff...so my ass that no one fills their pockets.

If they did sell stuff (which I will neither confirm nor deny since I have no info on it) it was not gotten by the GUILD it was obtained on their own time. Get the facts straight before you make accusations =) The TR thread was about OFFICERS selling GUILD BANK loot. Reading comprehension > you. Hey Hilly =)

I've heard of a couple items being sold but it was all stuff one group can farm. Is that a conspiracy against the guild though to pocket money? No its just like one group farming CT named for items a few months back. Everyday people post links of stuff and ask if anyone needs. Its then ditributed as needed. There is no you have to spend 150k for this or raid points or anything like that. Even most of the stuff people farm solo goes to guild members. So you guys can make accusations if you want but its just that accusations.

Raskin: ED is not puttering around in low end zones. hardly anything we get is NOT no drop. sure, theres lottsa new trade items. i think vi finally did a good job at making tradeskills pay off for those who put many hours into raising those boring ass skills. what those people acquire on their own is their perogrative to do with as they please. if they make items then sell them and split the profits between their group. if they sell em and horde all the profit, again, its their perogrative. however, what we get as a guild tho, is shared as a guild.
as far as where the hundreds of thousands of pp goes: i dont keep track of the guild bank, its not my job nor does it really matter to me. i do know this tho, we go thru hordes and hordes of peridots. im not even a cleric and ill go thru 100 every few days depending on what we are raiding easy. thats just from casting spellshield alot on the handful of ae mobs that need it. cleric burn peris up everytime someone dies rebuffing them. /shrug
the whole point is, what damn difference does it make what a guild does with it items, to anyone outside of that guild? some folks just have a dire need to stir drama. other folks have a dire need to remind everyone around them how f****n stupid they are with every word they say. *cough* mael *cough*
