Programmers Box. Used by GM's and the dev team when they were building the zones.

Nice cracked staff in inventory!
Anyways, have you seen the kittens? I forget what zone it is now, but if you are shrunk and plant your face at the wall you can see kittens in the distance.

I've been in the penalty box before, it happend when I zoned into the Hole w/o actually downloading the zone first. A guide with a name like Shanda (I believe???) rescued me... 'you've been a naughty paladin.'

both befallen, and Erudin have kitten rooms.
http://home.comcast.net/~dfj21/1
under the bottom section of screenshots, I have various "mystery rooms" posted.
Basically, from what I can remember, zone setups created these little pockets like that, and they decorated them. Later, they started putting useful coords on the insides. Most noticeably in one of the Sol's screenshots. Later, some were put in intentionally for usefulness like the GD one under the world, and the Plane of Mischief one (which i might still have somewhere), before the zone opened, /zone took you inside it. It had a jester on the wall.
Here is the cat room one I took.

Did you f**k her, Akronn? Did you two f**k in the penalty box, you naughty, naughty paladin?
Akronn set down The Wurmslayer and gently massaged Shanda's shoulders. His fingers were rough to her, the hands of a man who knew death in all its forms.
"mmm, that feels good...", she said softly, her tongue wetting her supple lips.
His hands drifted to her smooth neck and removed the Velium Polished Quartz Necklace that rested there. Gently, Akronn fingered the zipper on Shanda's Robe of the Kedge and began to slide it slowly down. Her back was then seen to him. It was long, slender and vivid, like the bow of an ancient ivory vessel that glided the night sky rather than the seas.
Akronn would have screwed her in the ass Zelniak style, but unfortunately her robe was nodrop and he couldn't get the f*****g thing off. So he PKed her and looted what he could. Later he was killed by Minotaur Hero, thus proving that Minotaur Hero was indeed a hero and not just some overrated schmuck.
Shanda lost her corpse and became a begger, love denied by Verant's selfish coding.

ROFL!!!
Although I must tell you, I got the Wurmslayer after I got out of the penalty box. I joined the raid and Gabriall lent it to me because my 1-hander was a ghoulbane at the time.

The PoM box has a wood elf in lambent armor with a jester's cap on shrugging with a thought balloon containing coordinates to somewhere else in the zone, I think the zone in pad, but don't remember.
