was wondering if any high smiths want to share how you got from 200-250.

I have two smiths. Troll(zek) smith (205)
Human(forgot) smith (201)

I'm currently doing Acrylia Chain Armor. but damn is hard to get windstones. You need like 40 of them (no failing) to make 20 tempers.
I mass-AE those things in mountains for hours and hours. only get couple.

I've been trying to buy windstones in baz. paying 200-300pp each. But there are hardly any forsale.

Is this what rest of you did? or is there something else I can make at this skill level?

Acrylia, shadowscream, cutural or Mistletoe Cutting Sickles are about the only options :/

The Tae Ew armor might be an option now that the blood is dropping a lot more.

I got frustrated with smithing at 199 and haven't had the time to work on it again.

I heard that one part of the recipe for Shadowscream armor (which can take you to 25) was changed from no rent to rentable... which would make that method somewhat easier to skill up on.

Stuck at 189 smithing here myself Sad

Shadowscream is probably the best way to go. Windstones are too time consuming to get.

Good place for smithing info is EQ Traders - smithing Forum
