they put all there money in dreamcast, and dreamcast came out when everyone was hyping about PS2 and everyone already had a PS1 so ppl didnt want to waste money on something that wouldnt be as good as next gen.

I'd love to see them make a come back to the console market, they always thought ahead. Though saying that their latest games have been a bit cack par a few.

Agreed. I don't know what it is about Sonic Team, but something happened in between Sonic Adventure 1/2 and the release of the 360 and PS3. Quality went downhill. Problems arose. Storylines were crap. Overall, everything became poorer (in my opinion), and hardly worth the time of a rental. I'm hoping the upcoming game will put some more hope in my mind, but I'm not going to hold my breath.
