ABC, CBS, NBC all passed.
Fox, CNN, MSNBC carrying it.
Is Fear Factor really more important? I guess the logic is at this point, Bush's supporters are behind him no matter what he says or does, and his opponents are against him no matter what he says or does, so why bother even broadcasting it.

Or it could be that ABC, CBS, and NBC are just bad news networks...

I'm a little surprised ABC didn't carry it.

I'm going to go for the theory that Bush is a waste of airtime to me so I'm glad they're not... then again, I'm not much of a politic type...

Probably a mix of both.

To be honest Banzai, I have no idea how good those three stations are anymore. I stopped watching them for news years ago.
That being said, I wasn't making any judgments on the stations. I was simply stating my opinion that those stations aren't good stations for news.

I am ashamed Fox, CNN, and MSNBC are carrying it :/ GWB sounds more and more like a cult leader everyday. "The evil won't prevail, the evil won't prevail, the evil won't prevail" says GWB a honest to god direct quote. You can just ask GWB or God since GWB says on TV that he speaks to God. Soon we will all have the same hair cut say things like "f**k the sun" and "the night time is the right time!"

Conspiracies my ass .. it's no secret that the 3 networks HATE Bush.. Personally I think this is utter b******t. Whether one agrees with Bush or not, it's each persons right to decide whether they watch it or not. The option shouldn't be removed completely.
This is VERY irresponsible reporting, IMHO and NBC, ABC and CBS should be ashamed they let themselves be so utterly controlled by the DNC.

There is a choice. If you want to watch it just watch Fox or something.

Fox is paid? I thought they were broadcasting also. Weren't they channel 11 in LA and channel 42 in SF?
You can also probably catch the feed from CNN.com
You can go to a friend's house and watch it there.
You can go to a f*****g Circuit City and watch it there
Quit playing the victim Abi.. you aren't going to be handed everything on a silver platter !!

I think it's all ratings-driven. This has been happening a lot lately. Kind of irresponible on the networks' behalf, though.

Will it be on the Fox network or just Fox News? the Fox network around where I live never has news or shit like this.. Besides that's not the point. The point is this is obviously a jibe at the liberal media against Bush, and it's b******t.

My point is, if Clinton coughed, all 3 networks would break in and do a news alert about it. Now they aren't even airing a speech by our commander in chief? As Bill Oreilly would say.. This has got to be the most rediculous item of the day.

I'm pretty certain that over time Presidential addresses and the like have generated less and less air time. I think it's more a statement of the growing apathy of American viewers as a whole than a dig at one President in particular. Irresponsible? Perhaps. A business decision? Yes.
Abi, people in general are sick of politics and the news. This leaves only a few dedicated news networks like CNN to carry the burden. Speaking of CNN, isn't that what you call the "Clinton News Network" anyways? Why would they be showing Bush's speech if they had an axe to grind, after all?

I can see your points there, Nah.. You are probably correct that it was mostly a business decision, but I wouldnt be a bit suprised if there wasn't some memo written by James Carville floating around the big 3's offices
With regards to the CNN comment.. Touche', well played, I stand properly pwned
