can you use any other fruit to hasten the ripening of some avocados or can you only use apples? I have these 25 avocados I need to be a bit riper before tomorrow night and I stuck them in a bag but I can't figure out if I need an apple or if any ripe fruit will do.

bananas work too - the riper the better for bananas or apples. Actually anything that gives of ethylene would work - even an already ripe avocado would work better than nothing. And it has to be a paper bag, not plastic, to let in oxygen or it won't work.

I stuck a ripe peach in there in the meantime.. from what I understand all ripe fruit gives off ethylene, just apples and bananas do it more.. peaches should not be far behind tho... right?

It's going great, I just had my final today I got out with a 96% in the class. My problem right now is I only know 2 cases and a handful of verbs. I can read it but I still can't recognize the remaining 4 cases, seeing a word in a different case sometimes is difficult to understand even tho it looks like I should know what it is. Like book "kniga".. I see something like blah blah blah knigoo" and I know the word but I don't understand what case it's in and what it therefore means (in this case, genitive case) since I only know nominative and prepositional so far.
Next semester will be cool. I get to learn genitive, accusative, dative and instrumental cases.
