I visited the site on the date and nothing happened. Then a few weeks later, it was taken down.
The thing is.....the date and URL were a different date before that, and that date came and went and nothing happened, then a couple months later, there was a new date and URL, and now it's down.
/shrugs
Never believed, but was curious as hell about the pictures.

Synopsis for Banz:
There was this website (URL in my post above) and it was a uber-cheezy....one of those ones with multiple fonts, big and small, and different colors, and super long.
Basically, he said that he was out hiking on some mountain and found a camera, and he had a picture of this older film camera laying on the side of a mountain. The camera had film in it, and although partially destroyed, there was enough of the film, that he could get it developed. But OMG the contents of the pictures foretold of something apocalyptic.
He could not post the pictures, because of ???, and now there were men in black vans that were chasing him and now he was updating the site from a hidden location out in the boonies somewhere, and the men in black were on his tail again.
Basically, the contents of the pictures were unbelievable and incredible and they would be shared with the world on this certain date (the date of the URL) and then we would all believe and understand.
That's the gist.....

and I just remembered what happened AFTER the date hit.
The website changed to something government looking, and his URL was hijacked by the MiB.
Was funny....

Good stuff.
Sounds like that page where the guy actually tracked down the person who sent out the e-mail saying he was a time traveler and needed a new part to get back to his time.
That was some funny shit.
