Link isn't working for me, think the site is down. But if its like a recording from something in-game I remember a bunch of people using a program called Fraps to record ingame footage in CoH, don't know if that helps since im not even sure what the video is without being able to see it.

hrmm. link worked for me.
spit. if you use your DVI output, what's recording it? a tivo or replay or something digital like that? cuz cvr would suck

This can be done with Fraps : Rathe vid
Gets you ginormous files though. Capturing at 800x600 = 1 gig per 1min.
But after divx/wmv encoding that goes down to 3megs (i'm serious).
Great program, no need for DVI and ackward 2 comp setups.

Step 1) Get Fraps
Step 2) Install and turn it on, go to game of choice and record a movie
Step 3) Learn how to convert the big f*****g .avi you just made into a much smaller .wmv using Windows Movie Maker
Step 4) There is no step 4 b***h!
Like the above guy said you can convert that huge 1-20gig movie you just recorded into a 5-6meg clip with full sound and even extra stuff you throw in (credits, music, titles etc). Windows Movie Maker works fine for this.

is there anywhere i can get fraps?
i downloaded the shareware version but thats not gunna cut it with the whole display of the framerate and the display of the www.fraps.com at the top
suprnova isnt cutting it either it wont download
i really need it for a project =\

When you are playing the captured video, do you still have fraps running?
If so THAt is where the framerate is from. it's telling you the framerate of your video ;P
Turn it off and try again )
