Good to try and melee as well as you can't just sit and med in the middle of a fight. Just dont' chain cast...

Your med rate is constant unless you are in an encounter. You don't have to sit.

lmao dude your destroying society!
Basically man, you will just have to try diffrent classes.
Mage pet is a big ugly ass bug at first, then I think I saw one with a spider? (higher level mage )
Eh, basically you will try a few things anyway to see what you like / dont like.

i'm a f*****g idiot and posted this on another thread some how, but anyway.....
There are a couple differences I can name, but thats only because I play with these classes allof the time. Classes like monks, rogues, bruisers, assassins, I don't know much about.
I see more warriors use shields than duel wield. And no not because they have Anger III on them.
Shamans cast something called 'Wards' which is basically a rune that absorbs damage, and costs no components, but they still slow, and heal.
Bards don't continously play songs, they play their song like a buff, when it wears off they play it again.
There is alot of the same too.
I dont think Paladins and SK's can duel wield. I see them use 2handers all of the time.
Clerics basically just heal, heal, and heal still
Enchanters mez, and breeze.
Druids still suck...
Except for the large amount of quests, and sweet graphics, it's basically the same ol' level grind, and "I have to prove to others that my EQ penis is as big if not bigger than theirs." So basically pick a class that semi-interests you, then try to show everyone else how late you can stay up and press buttons. Oh and don't be an idiot...I hate idiots

Now wait a minute! My druid is pretty tight, and I can heal with the best of them. Why, just yesterday I was the only healer in a group taking on the rat queen (our group avg. level 19) and I kept us all alive!

you med faster in combat while sitting, out of combat regen is constant sitting or standing. Btw the extra in combat regen while sitting sucks to the point where you're better off just whacking at stuff with whatever weapon you have handy.

It's like that in WoW, too. Gives casters a reason to have nice weapons, other than for looks. Some alt abilities ("talents" in WoW) let you regen a little mana (10% per tick) during combat, but not many. I like the systems like this.

WRONG.

As long as you are not in a locked encounter, you regenerate just as fast when moving as when you are standing still.
You may have noticed an instant replenishement that happens on occasion. This is a feature of our "mini-ding" system where at each yellow bubble (10% of a level), your health and power returns to full. It's just a handy way to minimize downtime and to make your progress through each level feel more rewarding.

That's a neat idea tho. in WoW, you get full health and mana (and so does your pet) when you ding. Your pet also levels up, if you have one. Pretty fun to have 4 mobs on you when you ding at low health.

This is even nicer, can have FM/FH in the middle of the fight all the sudden if there are multiple mobs. Has saved my ass a couple times.

Actually, the quote is wrong. You get it every 20% not ten. However, whose word you take is your business. Although, if yyou take Moorguard's word, then you would be wrong.
