Hmm never gotten that one; but go into your DCC options and make sure you have them set to prompt you for a send; mine defaulted to ignoring send requests which meant I couldnt download anything

don't use Mirc for getting files
use a DCC catcher.........8million times better and you never have to look at that useless nonstop spam
Besides that if you want to continue to use Mirc just turn your settings in DCC settings to allow all - some servers however you may need to type in a command prompt such as /msg XXX dcc allow blah blah blah
get it?
If not do what I said and use the DCC Catcher - you will love me for it and never have to wait for shit again

Map port 59 on your router to your system. It's simple shit really.

that doesn't necessarily solve your problem - especially if you are not using a router you can still have failed connections due to the server end who is hosting the files
Again as I said save yourself the waste of time and just get a DCC catcher program

How the hell will your situation be any different with a DCC catcher?

DCC catcher doesn't look at ports or anything of the sort .......try one and you will see what the difference is. It basically connects you to every single server out there you set it to connect too and lets you grab anything from ANY bot and tells you the queues - speeds etc - very nice
yes Minion your way can work no problem if he is using a router
If he is static and on cable or something he could still be SOL.
