I'd go with the xbox 360 cause i like the shooter games on the 360 like call of duty 4 and also, gta 4 when that comes out
But i think it depends on what kind of games you want to play.
I don't like the wii cause theres no good shooting games like rainbow 6.
But ps3 might come out with good games later, but i think the ps3 is still expensive for me.

Id say Wii just because is very innovative and maybe graphics are not as good as the others, but games and fun really are. Specially some games like rayman which are just hilarious and the Mario Galaxy, Zelda, Smash bros, the fun is just unending, besides, is nintendo !

Depends what you want from a console.
Let me expand...
Xbox - gaming alone or with mates, good for a lads night in with booze and junk food. Backed by Micro$oft they have the biggest cash reserves to call on than any of the gaming manufacturers and have an ego (bill gates: "Games consoles? I can win at that! Quick, pump cash in and dominate the market, you know, like we usually do.")
PS3 - gaming alone or with mates again but with free online play as opposed to the Xbox (Live). Admittedly released later than planned and with less games than the other consoles, the PS3 is churning out titles to try to keep up with the vast library of Micro$oft's systems.
One of the main advantages of the PS3 is the win over the Xbox + Toshiba's HD-DVD with their Blu-ray. Given that the hi-def disc reader is built into the PS3 which is a nice bonus compared to the cost of adding the redundant HD-DVD drive to the console.
Wii - Fantastic social game that brings people together and especially great at parties! I've recently purchased this console from Nintendo and have been impressed both with its size and the quality of the graphics, not to mention the ace Wii-mote that after a while feels like an extension of your arm and makes aiming (IMO) superior to the Xbox and the PS3.
My recommendation: Wii - Cheapest and most fun.

Im not saying the PS3 is crap, but there is a part of their sales made purely for the Blu-Ray player since it is cheaper than buying a stand-alone player.

360 all the way, Wii is more of a novelty, its fun to play with groups of people but I enjoy my xbox more

We have a xbox 360 at home, it's honestly nice and the game selection is awesome....BUT...if I could do it over again, I'd go with a Wii, just for the funness factor I guess. Tough call.

I would definetly not get a Wii, they only have a couple cool games, My choise would be an xbox360. I have played a couple ps3 games which were cool, but no halo

I think it all determines on the type of person you are
Xbox360 - Shooter rpg type of games
Ps3 - no clue never played
Wii - Focused on the younger genration ( mario series, zelda )
IMO I prefer xbox 360 because I live sports games and shooters so its great for me

I say PS3 for overall efficiency considering I have had multiple friend return multiple Xbox 360s. And all of my PS3 friends have not done it a single time. Plus the graphics are amazing. However I love Wii's too!
