K I can burn the CD I use Nero express/Nero burning rom.
But when I play it in a cdplayer and it plays good for the first few songs but then the songs start crackling.
Is it my burner [ SAMSUNG CD-R/RW SW-240B 40x 32x 40x ]
or my program.
or my cds
I'm using Memorex CDs from a 50 pack.
The mp3s are from the nickleback CD on the ftp.

Try turning down your writing speed. I had a similiar problem burning at 52x and I turned it down to I think 40x and everything is fine now.

Ahh, that would probably work. I whined to the company who created my burner and had my friends harass them non-stop for 2 days. Eventually when they understood I wouldn't shut the f**k up and leave them alone they fixed it for me. It was pretty cool! Who says regression doesn't get you what you want?

It got me my name back. 
And that was only temporary. The CD's just sounded like shit, low quality MP3's, then I turned down the speed and burnt like that for a few weeks. I tried 52x again and its working fine. Same brand CD's and everything, weird.

Thats also how I got my local ISP to start building a wireless high-speed where I live. (No way in hell they are laying cable 5 miles out of town) I called everyday for a month, and got 2 friends to start calling. Finally I saw a tower being built a mile up the road.
