I know a couple of people on Dial up who have no problems. Sony learned alot from EQLive and how to optimize performance.

excellent.
Then I won't have to deal with the price gouging of DSL while I'm up here. Unless me and the wif want to play at the same time, then I will have to shell out the green. Not even going to try connection sharing on a 56k for eq2...
which btw, anyone know just how bandwidth intensive this is?
The reason I ask is because if I want to go with the DSL anyways, this is what I have to pay.

I dialup shared eq1 without much hastle. of course the 2nd machine was just running wc3, if someone tried to load a webpage that was the end of it all.

I ran 2 pc's playing eq at the same time on a shared 56k.
I had issues if we tried to raid at the same time, but it did work for normal grouping etc.

Thanks for the info Krath, some good news for a change. I will have to give that a try as soon as it gets here.
