3 new worlds coming up that you can transfer to now, anyone plan on going?.. info about it at ffo.warcry.com and all the other ff sites ;p
basicly it moves your char and gear to a new server and everyone from your server who moved ends up on the same new server so you can keep LSs and shit together.

move thing is open from the 21st to the 29th.. thing i think would be nice is i bet the new servers will have alot more americans on them than the old ones.

Tura runs the Bismarck LS. Including Ash, Malodious and Myself. He's saying if Zuldane moves the Ifrit LS, Tura would bring us to the server so we'd all be together.
Need to calm down Tachi.
Oh and btw, do we get to choose what server we land on?

Personaly, I think a move would be a good thing. If nothing else the server will have a heavy american population.

I've met some great people I'd miss on Bis, but on the other hand I've met quite a few of the mentally challenged population as well :p The move would have its own pros and cons.

Here's my 2 cents on this.
I'm sure many of you enjoyed the nice change in the overall helpfulness and friendliness of the FFXI community. I think a large contribution to this friendliness lies primarily in the Japanese, at least from my personal experience. The few bad experiences I've had in this game have been mostly from NA's. Without a doubt, the 3 new servers will be filled with NA's. In my opinion, I think these servers will be filled with a******s, very much like the community in EQ, Battle.net, DAoC whatever you name it.
Numerous times, high level Japs have helped me, escorted me to places because their are baddies out and about, and answering questions to the best of their ability. I think all of this will shatter with the new servers.

i think it comes down to how badly you want to be able to be good high end.. right now the servers are mostly japanese, meaning you really will never be able to get into the high end guilds since they control it and you cant talk to them very well. The higher i level in this game the more and more i wish there were more NA.. by high 30s theres like no one to group with and the japs dont really like you cause you cant talk to them much. If your happy with not really being able to speak with 60 percent of the people then old servers work but new ones are better if you want lots of english people.

I hear it is common practice for the high lvl JPN players to move on the server changes so they can get the named high level content with less of a contest (cound familar). You might find if you stay on the server, the server may actually end up being more american after the server switch (if thats your reasoning to go)

I'm staying, since alot of Ifrit isnt leaving. The only reason i'd wanna leave is to unite bismarck and ifrit. But I guess thats not happening. =p

I'd vote down moving.
I'm not a big uber raiding person, so that doesn't matter to me. Also, I've made a few friends here that I don't really want to leave hanging...
