Someone did a test with the shrouds. It took him 1200 white+ con mobs to upgrade a shroud to the next shroud.
Yeah, no thanks.

Yea, I think they need to lower the required kills on the shrouds to upgrade them killing 1000 mobs is a bit too extreme for just to progress the shroud you're in once, other than that gripe I'm liking the expansion so far, Naggy monster mission fun, hehe.
