My logitech mx700 is spazzing out lately, getting missing or multiple clicks from the lefthand button. Looks like the mx1000 is the current version of it. Is that decent for games and stuff? I assume it is, but I was wondering if anybody had one and could verify that it didn't suck. They seem to have added some more features - not sure if I really need the scroll wheel to "tilt" as well as push and roll or whatever it does now.

I'd say anything Logitech is good. All other brands of a mouse I've returned.

mx1000 is probably the worst mouse for gaming that is out.

mx510 for the win

I have an MX 1000 and love it. There's no signal lag at all, it's cordless with it's own rechargable battery and is stupidly accurate. It's large, but I have long fingers so it doesn't bother me much.

I don't believe you're still trying to pass off this charade. Why don't you come out and admit you have no children already? The world is waiting, Sorn. You need to end this facade.

I like my Wireless MS Explorer 2.0 but I don't play FPS so I don't need the response times of a wired mouse.

Word on the street is, if you're looking for a mouse with a wire, the Razor Diamondback is *THE* one to get. it's amazing. about $60 also.

If you want wireless, Logitech's MX1000 is the way to go, at about $80

It's twice the scan resolution or some shit, sold a few no complaints thus far.

I still use the original microsoft intellimouse, which I bought the day they were released. I think that was Christmas of 99 or 2000.

It is incredibly dirty, but it still works like a charm!

Hmm, well I can't do a corded mouse, too much hassle, plus the layout ends up with the cord stretched all the way across my desk. The MX700 worked like a champ for 2-3 years; I have no complaints about it for gaming at all.

I'd read a few people complain about the MX1000 having a noticable lag if you lift it slightly off the table and set it down. Not sure if that would bother me or not, or if it's fixed in the latest drivers - hard to tell if I even do that but I might. I guess I'll just order one; the random mouseclicks are driving me nuts.

I don't notice any lag at all with my MX1000. I'm running the latest drivers though, Logitech always packages their shittiest drivers on the CD that comes with your mouse, so I just download the latest ones off their website.

It's awesome for FPS gaming, because of how accurate it is. Best mouse I ever owned period.
