Mobs and tasks Sounded pretty exciting and doable until it got to the parts about GoD zones. The story looks pretty neat, though.

if by neat you mean rehash of every quest story in every other rpg ever then ya its awesome... kinda like white bread, real f*****g interesting until you realize theres a million other pieces just like it... I would give sony props if the necro 2.0 turned out to be a higher pixel duckstaff that when identified just said "lol"

I tried doing my epic, but I gave up... I really didn't like the quests. I didn't really have to "solve". I just had to go to Alla's.

Not to mention that today's there's probably 20 of them showing off their sticks, and tomorrow will have 50-60 more.

They were hard to solve when they first came out and no one knew how to do them.. what we were talking about is the first person to get the epic (ie first person to solve the quest before the walkthroughs are out) back in the day that was an accomplishment.. now the quest must be pretty straight forward and easy if its already solved..

The epic 1.5's were meant to be pretty short, but i'm guessing what took so long with the old epics was that if you turned in your pieces to the wrong guy... they didn't give it back like they do today! In stead of saying "I have no need for that item Vashers" they would respond "HAHA SUCKER"

So you can just go around handing your note/skull/tuft of fur or whatever to every tom d**k and harry until they spit out the next part of your quest when you're stuck

lol ya, but still it meant people actually searched through the dialogfor hints rather than just randomly hand stuff around.. also i bet any money hte dialog for these quests is much clearer than that of the original.

doesnt seem to have many bottle necks , extreamly lame time sinks and really only needs your guild for the last fight where they can do more than one at a time.

Druid epic 1.5 has no coherency, its just like, run around, hail EVERY SINGLE f*****g MOB in every zone, hope they say something new, wait 45 minutes for something new to spawn, and move to the next one until you find a chunk of sick plant life.

So far it's been:
Forage in rathe mts.
kill some 2-4 hour repop goblins in LoIO
start some s****y goblin hide and seek event in FM (which you have to have 100 skill in goblin for and a goblin illusion thing.)
Kill some named ulthork that only spawns if you have the bag from the RM forage being handed in to some b***h in EK, then give what he drops to an OTHMIR in cobalt scar. Lets not forget that 98.7% of all druids are kos to othmir from quadding for 7 aa per day + 3 tailoring points!

Oh well. I guess it serves us right for being able to solo our first epic while training people and ninjaing loot.

Faydedar camp 1.5 inc.. seriously we couldnt do our first epic solo no way... druid epic was prolly one of the hardest epics in the f****n game maybe even worse than cleric before they changed both of um.

I'm surprised nobody has mentioned the obvious phallic reference with Lathes name. Ebony, a common term given to black people, and rod, a common name given to the Penis. Lathe, which means to shape a piece of material, such as wood or metal, or in this case, blackcock. So, Lathes Ebonyrod likes to give handjobs to well endowed black men.
