Ouch! I've had nightmares about this kind of thing. I live out in the sticks and my dog regularly has run-ins with skunks and coons. I dread the day he meets a porcupine as I suspect this would be the result.

yup they lock and wont let go, mom has a stafford shire bullterrior and my god he can hang on to the rope so long wont let go after 45 mins of tugging he will just lay there with his mouth locked onto the rope and u can just drag him.. he wont let go tho

My old roommate has a 70 lb english bulldog. You can get him to bit down onto a towel, pick him up, and swing him around in cirlces. The whole time he'll be jerking his neck back like he's tugging (but being in the air, has no footing ;p) funny shit, fine animal.
