is coming up soon.
I need some good ideas. Right now I'm thinking lame and planning on getting her a pink iPod mini, engraving something sweet on the back, and getting 12 pink roses. I'll also be drawing/painting her a card and writing some poetry or just a nice touching letter.
Anyone have any more romantic ideas then this..? Money isn't a factor aslong as it's under $500. I've already bought her earrings, necklaces, bracelets, rings, etc, so none of that stuff.
edit - forgot to add, i'm trying to get away from meaningless material objects for this one. I don't have a problem spending money but I would prefer it not be something that flashes $$$ all over it, like an iPod.

For my wifes last birthday i bought her a bunch of stuff that was all symbolic. Got her stuff like a flower for all the romantic times we had together, got her a coin from the base we were stationed at ( military will know what im talking about ) to show our time there together, etc etc etc. use your imagination.

I took m'lady out to a very nice dinner after sneaking her out at 12:01 that morning to the end of the pier where I had champagne waiting along with a little plush thingy she had fallen in love with as we passed it earlier.
I suppose she's easy to please.

Is the ipod something she's been talking about getting? If so, go for it! Nothing wrong with giving her something she'll use everyday (and associate with your love).
