If you notice the bottom left corner of the screen, a person jumped out at it, purposely scaring it. That is why it ran into the wall. I swear the first time I saw that I replayed it for 20 minutes, laughing every time.

I think what we're supposed to gather from the clip is that the b***h with the bad haircut tripped, hitting the nightstand which caused the cat to jump.
Why they were filming the cat during such an "accident" in the first place is beyond me.
I think it would have been funnier to see the b***h trip, frankly.
