i know how you can change your screenshots to jpeg, i had this problem when i first did it too but my bro told me...
anyway, when you save your screenshots click on the folder to where you want to save, then on the bottom of the box that appears it says 'File name' where you obviously write the name and below this is a bar which says 'Save as type'. Click on the small arrow at the end of this bar and click on the row that says 'JPEG (*.JPG,*JPEG,*JPE,*JFIF)' then save image.
Also once you have saved it as JPEG it will show a different small image next to the image name when you browse to look for it. ( bitmap image shows paintbrush - JPEG shows a small picture thing.
