looking to try Guild Wars

I'm thinking about finally trying Guild Wars for the first time, I don't have much experience with MMOs though I used to play a lot of RPGs when I was a bit younger I'm attracted to Guild Wars primarily because it's said not to require deep involvement and can be experienced fully by the casual player. Would you guys say that these claims are true, based on your experience?
Well, it depends. Guild Wars is a PvP game first and foremost, though it does feature a PvE campaign too. More importantly, it's a tactical game. While you can learn to hold your own quickly enough, it will take some time to master. I'm not trying to discourage you or anything by all means, give it a shot.
