yer missing the point
if i wanted a piece of shit with long range, there's dozens out there.
being able to transmit and recieve a signal is easy, any wireless keyboard can do it.
Being able to never miss a single action, with perfect timing is another thing.
I could shove a wire up your ass and use your fillings to transmit my mouse if i wanted, doesn't mean it'll work well though.

I'm sure you'd find your hand/eye coordination slower than how fast a keyboard transmits.
But then again I only read the last reply and have no idea what you're talking about.

generic as f**k, but what the hell.
Once a decent wireless keyboard and mouse comes out that will let me sit on my couch, and play games on my tv, i'll switch, until then, f**k it. |
Logitech Elite Wireless + Logitech MX1000 = best wireless keyboard / mouse on the market. Just be sure to buy some rechargable batteries for the keyboard, it'll save you money in the long run. |
Maybe I should of phrased that differently
When a keyboard and mouse exists that will let me sit on my couch, with my pc 10 feet away, and allow me to play games without having to worry about aiming them, about stutter, or about just overall s****y connection between them, i'll get one. |
That's exactly what I do with my setup right now. There is no lag with the logitech keyboard / mouse that I've noticed. The only downside is that you go through batteries farily quickly with the wireless keyboard, so do yourself a favor and invest in a good set of rechargable batteries and a 15 minute charger.

I have a 15 minute recharger for my camera, but there is no cordless mouse/keyboard that will not lag when you start making long and fast movements on your mouse.
If I make a movement, I want it made on screen the same speed I can do it with my hand.
It's a physical limitation set by the bandwidth range that they are allowed to use on cordless keyboards.
They physically cannot keep up with the speed you get with a wire.
