that piece was removed from spawning in order to stop the quest.. they thought it was "too powerful" I think.

The knockback effect was interfering with "The Vision".

If you want knockback, just ask Nahualli to get out his broom and I'll bring my bard horn! (No, DONT FLING THAT SKELETON HALFWAY ACROSS THE MINES THX)
Using Stronghorn's horn has made for some, uh, fun experiences (oopsie, now why did that dragon go flying across the hall... durrrrrrr, I dunno!?!)

The knockback also raised your archery skill ,I believe, and that was part of the reason.

No, the fact that the weapon used Archery skill combined with the fact that it could be equipped in the Primary slot allowed you to raise your archery by auto-attacking mobs.

That, and it could hit a mob regardless of their Z axis placement. If theyre in the 150 range of the BFG
It is great for pulling singles
It also makes Julienne fries

ya wont find any wood. it stopped spawning like 2 years ago. id say in that time 50 or more people have come here and asked for a MQ and not one has got it .
If someone did have one the price would be insane. I can't even guess what some people would pay for it.
Not really all that uber a item but it's always fun to have toys hardly anyone else has and looks badass.

10 second cast time makes it worthless.
but it's still fun to f**k around with.
it was cool when it first came out.

Wasn't the BFG retro-nerfed too? I thought the ones out there don't have the effect anymore.

10 seconds is fine for it, for its use it really should have been longer

BFG owns =)
10 sec, 30 sec, infinite knock back is perfect for a puller in places where single pulls are lvl 60+ wyrms or dragons. Just face toward the party, target the mob and BOOM launch the f****r right out of other agro paths.
The 1 second cast time was fricking hysterical. I use to be able to beat shaman Cheetah speed by blasting across a zone. Good times.
