Those kids shouldnt get in any trouble. Most of the "egging on" occured after he had already left to go on his rampage. They are a******s for not trying to talk him out of it, but that isn't a crime. The dealer who sold him the shrooms, which were obviously laced with something, should be shot.

If they knew he was on some sort of substance there should have been no encouraging. you dont f**k around with people and tell them to make a shout out or go on web cam when they are f****d up and saying they are going to kill themselves.

Just asked a very dear friend of mine that is pretty soft hearted and one of the most wonderful person I know... she pretty much had the same opinion as I did. Guy was a fucktard, why should I feel any more sympathy for him than I would anyone. I almost feel sorry for his parents actually, they are the ones who are going to live with the guilt of their actions. They raised him, probably with the TV as a babysitter and a computer for a learning tool, and they failed as parents. Like most parents now, who spend more time on their own entertainment than seeing to the needs of their children. I *used* to have friends like that, but since I have absolutely NO respect for them, they are no longer considered people worthy of my attention. Yes, it souds like I am speaking from some grand high platform or moral beliefs, but then again... I also know that right now I would probably not be a good parent... so I don't have kids. It all boils down to responsibility, something this kids parents lacked. They should be the ones arrested and charged with neglegence, and imprisoned for 18 years, the 18 years they failed as parents.

You cant really blame a 19 year old's parents for his taking drugs. The role of the parent really played no part in this at all. In today's society everybody experiments. It could have been that he was depressed and acted on it when he was not thinking clearly. In fact, what do his parents have to do with his death at all?

They should not have allowed him to be doing drugs in their house, so yes they are partially responsible.

Being 19, he is considered an adult, and therefore parents can not be blamed for his actions. For all we know, he could have been living by himself or with friends. A child can be raised in an extremly good environment and still make stupid choices. Because he chose to take drugs, that may have been laced with something, does that mean he deserved to die because they made him insane in the head. We have no idea of him mental status before hand. But everyone has had an episode at one time or another of acting like a fool or getting depressed when they are f****d up. No one should have encouraged the crazy talk.

There's a lot of things my parents probalby shouldn't have allowed me to do in my house, most of which they still don't know about to this day. Maybe if they'd kept me under their constant supervision at all times...

I am not saying he deserved to die Emimen; he said he had never done shrooms before and he also probably did not know they were laced.
His parents acknowledged that their son was doing hallucagenic drugs, and if they were opposed to that then they should have kept a closer eye on him.

They most likely found out AFTER he was dead that he had been on shrooms. Autopsy reports probably figured that out.

I'm saying though that people need to be a bit more careful how they talk to people on chat channels. Some people are at their wits end when they come on these things. You never have a clue. Instead some choose to bash others (paden) for no reason. Things can push people over the edge. Yes, I know Paden seems to come back for more, so my point really is, that I'm angry that they were encouraging a person on something to go and kill himself. Thats really my whole point in this argument.

I think you're assuming that they knew he was doing the drugs before the whole incident took place. We don't know this; they could have easily found out after the fact.
Like i said, I've done a lot of things my parents would have been opposed to right under their noses. Jesus Christ man, weren't you ever a kid? Don't tell me your parents knew about everything you ever did.
