during beta, they spammed a couple times "Everquest has beaten Ultimaonline in a duel to the Death! Ultimaonline has fled like a cowardly dog!"
It was annoying to see "Fearisbroken has defeated Gettofearnow ina duel to the death" spammed for a few minutes every other day.

god damn it .. it was impossible to get a piece of vermi..
i eventually got nearly a full set (waaay later) and then it became obsolete. I deleted it right before PoP and now they have the damn exp turn in quests for them. bastards.

I didn't know Lumar did it, but Gogetta did if you remember him. I was talking to him on the phone while he got suspended. He says WTF my controls just locked up.. then Vyrinn popped up in the middle of his screen

I was in Rivervale when he was shouting to the zone with that name.
THere was a warning on file, but wasn't a suspension. Probably just forced to delete it?

he got told stuff by gms then he just logged out and deleeted it before anything more happened
it was hillarious though
we spent forever thinking up a character name that the server would accept

However, the ones I remember the best were from a night in mid 2000.
I'm leaving out the names of the guild and the player as we don't need oldschool drama.
<Guildname witheld>sucks has defeated Leftmefeignedinfear in a duel to the death.
Followed about 10 mins later by...
Thoseagainstninjalooters has defeated <Name of feigned necro>smalldick in a duel to the death.
I knew those involved, so I sent some tells and found out that indeed, the necro in question had tagged along on another guild's fear raid and had been hovering around all the corpses. So the guild evac'd out.

Then of course there were always the Cometohate vs Hatefarmopen, etc...

i was camped out there without leaving for like 2 months i think where i just logged in and out all day long 
hah! Crabsinmyvagina.. how long was that overon? Like a day and a half to get that to work lol
