Closed beta was fun, but with all the botting and ebaying I agree. Cancelled by presale from EB today, no way I am paying to play it.

haha if your in a mmo beta and your biggest problems are people botting and ebaying your doing really good, most have more serious problems like constant crashes, massive memory leaks and a huge number of bugs.

The game still sucks the dog though.

I do think its a rip off of doac. The future problems i see.... Hackers taking control right away... with alt tab function allowed at the start. EQ atleast blocked most from hacking. The biggest downfall i find is not the botting or ebay stuff... its the final game content... I dont think the servers will have enough players to have much of a Pvp game.

I dunno its the impression i get. So i sorta agree with you on the sux part.

ya i see this happening too, whenever a game has so many people at the start they need to rush and create more than double teh servers they had at teh start in less than 4 weeks its a good indication that no one wants to play...oh and alt tab never blocked anyone from hacking lol.

I only see a few things wrong with the game: Not enough items, first person view is teh SUCK, orcs get stuck in rocks in their home land so its VERY gay to play an orc, and if in PVP you lose xp the game will totally blow. Other than that i like it just fine.

There still is a very nice memory leak that happens after you play 4+ hours. Generally takes a complete shutdown and reboot to fix it. WinXP runs like a dog even with 1.5 gig DDR400 ram in it otherwise.

i just see no improvement over the current crop of games, why would i start fresh just to start another level grind. there is no content in the game.

quests, class system, dragons, pets, dungeon bosses, crafting, sieges, pvp, clans arent considered content by you? what exactly do you mean by content then?

bleh they bring nothing new to the table. quests seemed to be mostly go kill mobX a hundred times and bring back 100 fangs. the interface isn't intuitive at all, in fact it's cumbersome. the class system is very restrictive, each class has a set path, like orcs being the only class that can be a monk.

the world itself isn't eye candy, there is no customization of the character or any gear. in fact there is no way to make yourself stand out. and what about the naming policy, let you use numbers etc>? every damn person looks the same. all the game is, is a lame level grind.

i tried it for a couple weeks got into the late teens and realized there is no point to this game. also it's been out for like 3 weeks in open beta and people are already figuring out cheats by using bots etc. the pathing is really bad which makes exploiting it really easy. the list goes on.

i am surprised anyone is excited about this game at all.

This game is made so that you never stop the exp grind. No matter what happens you have to grind. Because once you get to the point where technically you dont need any more lvsl you still need exp to counter the deaths from pvp which is basically the only content at high lvls. Dragons and the very little pve content at high end wont quench ppls thirst for it.

This game was meant for crazy a*s asians. Who put ppl like iustus to shame. It wont do very well after the first few weeks/months in the states period.

actually they are moving more towards a velious like storyline with the next expansion, meaning more high end pve content on top of whats already there, not to mention they do have decent boss fights now, with the dragons added in chronicle as the uber mob, the asians are hardcore ya but mostly in the sense of numbers, they like the huge zerg fights where you need 300 people, for lvling this game is easier than EQ, no difference from other mmos, the weapons arent unique at low lvls anyway, tell me, in EQ did you have unique armor at lvl 20? didnt think so, if you started at the start you were lucky to have leather and chain with your mino axe that looked like a rusty battle axe.

Anyone else remember when store bought steal armor was the shit?

Well, I am for one am loving the game and plan to buy it day it comes out. I guess being in a clan and all being on Ventrilo at the same time makes it alot more fun, which im sure it would any game. But im al old school UO player and this game reminds me alot of UO, just being with a clan in a voice chat server gankin people everywhere.... I really dont care about fighting NPCs that gets so boreing, by the time your lvl 50 you wont want to fight anymore of them anyway.

Thats when the game will get real good im thinkin, when theres castle seiges, clan wars, mass PvP...I mean, its gona be so great to like go and actually take over a town and be able to controll everything in it...Like the guards, vendors, be able to tax players who buy stuff fromt here store ect. The game is built on PvP which is the best thing an MMORPG IMO, I dont see a point in whaling on NPCs all day long every day. I mean sure its for a while, but then gets boring. I played UO for 6 years, and still do on Player Run shards and have yet to get bored of the game, simply because the PvP is so great ...and this game seems like an enhanced version of UO

Loading it up now...I am kind of happy! Somehow "This game sUx0rzz" just wasn't enough to stop me from the half-fek-hour download.
