I was interested in what a retired cop has to say about this, and it seems like you have some input in every drug related topic but i can never really pick out any opinions from what you have to say.

I don't have a solid opinion. I don't think that responsible people smoking a little weed is bad, but thats not how it really is. I don't think children smoking weed is good because it can and does make you lazy. I gave up smoking weed on my own when I was 17, and that was after smoking it for at least 4 years. I didn't like the effect it had on me.

I guess if I was pressed for an answer I would say don't legalize it. Because of abuse by children and idiots.

The last thing I would want to see is groups of kids walking around my neighborhood smoking weed and acting the ass in the open, legally. People who say legalizing it, would not make more people pick up the habit are kidding themselves. Taking the stigma of illegality away from it would expand use of it in a big way, there is no doubt of that. Dealing with drunks is enough as it is, why add to the problem.

Or you could do like booze, and make it illegal for children.

Might be hard to do that for idiots though.

Being intoxicated in public is also illegal.

But at least legalization would stop the Michigan state police from seizing the car of a couple returning from Canada with 2 joints in there pocket.

If they made it so you had to have a licence or some shit it would be alright.

Make you take classes, and schooling and shit to get the licence, somewhat like a drivers licence before you turn 18.

I feel the same in a few ways Kbarr. Even if it was illegal to kids it would still leak. Just like booze. But I think it would be a much better alternative for kids to be smoking pot then drinking. I can say as a kid, if pot was legalized, alot of underagers would go from drinking to smoking because of the convenient size of pot vs bulky bottles.

The reason I say its a better alternative. When your driving drunk you arent aware of how drunk you are, etc etc, we have all heard that bit before. But when you're smoking pot, you are aware of how intoxicated you are and you act accordingly. I'm not saying driving intoxicated on anything is good, but id rather see kids driving stoned then drunk.

And then there is how much it would free up the court system/free up police recources/vanish alot of crime/make room in jails/vanish what some terrorist groups depend on as income/the list goes on and on.

i'd lean towards treating it as booze or cigarrettes, only because it actually has less detrimental effects on peoples general, health, except for the carcinogic agents, but those are in most everything smoked.

f**k weed, f**k booze, f**k crack. Make it legal. Let the abusers kill themselves off. I don't give a f**k, and I don't care how many innocent people they kill in their path. I've decided the idiots here who say driving drunk is okay are right. Let's cut the f*****g population down by 80% so the remainder of a******s alive will actually have to earn some f*****g food rather than have the government hand it to them.

Exactly. Eat the stuff. Vaporize it. Both of those alternatives are probly healthier then drinking a cup of coffee.

Agreed. If 80% of the population died off, the worlds population would be at a normal level.

Tell you the truth...

It was 15 years ago and he tried to get a free b******b from a crack head. He got the BJ, then gave her a crack vial with ivory soap in it as payment. She figured it out a few mins later, and he was stupid enough to still be parked on the corner. She confronted him and started f*****g up his Buick Electra 225:) Well he would have none of that and reached under his dash, pulled out a little 25 auto and stuck it in her face. She ran away and found me and my partner parked around the corner. We went over, tossed his car and found the gun.

One under. (cop talk for one under arrest)

Old f****r was a retired transit worker and he wasn't happy. He looked just like your avatar:)

He wasn't happy when I took the crowbar to his dash. I felt the gun up inside with the tips of my fingers but I could not grab it. So I ripped his dash apart:)

Close to 4000 vials of crack and another one with close to 3 oz of crack before it was put in vials.

One time I walked out to get the paper and heard all this screaming. I walked around back. There's this house that looks like some sort of child f****r stronghold behind a loan place with 10-12 DEA agents running around inside/out of the place. I don't live in the ghetto, but that was kind of scary!

Heh... child f****r stronghold... :p

Most rapes and molestations occur from people the kids know and are usually close to the families. What a turd.
