Yesterday i found out someone who wants to buy my WoW account. We decided that he should pay through visa.

After a while he told me that the bank has to approve the transaction before the money should arrive( and it takes 2 days).

By the meanwhile i've givin him only my account login & pass. Should i w8 further or is it an attempt to scam?

Is the payment already going to you?

What I would do is taking either take balance payments or e-check payments claim&cancel and would give him the information. But he might get screwed over too as anyone can be a scammer. Not sure if you can recover the account back or not.

sometimes if it's a visa bank card it can take up to a couple days for the money to get transfered to there paypal or yours so maybe just wait for him to have the money before you actually give him the account
