He seems more of a doofus than a slimeball psychotic killer.
And didn't the directors say something about never doing a venom or carnage type of thing simply because they hate the characters? Thought I remember someone mentioning that in another spiderman thread.

either way, too many villians is a recipe for disaster. see the batman movies 2-4 for examples. theres not enough screen time to properly introduce, develop and conclude the stories of mulitple unrelated bad guys. i predict suckage.

Mal, that's b******t. Batman 2 was GREAT! Almost as good as the first one. Very bad ass flick. I can't wait for the new one... Hell, that's got 2 bad guys also.
It's still gonna be mucho own.

I liked Venom until Larsen got ahold of drawing him. He hated the character, so did the whole large mouth, drooling thing to make fun of it. The story and use of him was still decent though. When they introduced carnage, that was the last decent symbiote storyline. The rest were crap.
Multiple villian movies could be done decently as long as there is a single main one, and the others are kind of in the background, or being developed in the background while the main part is going on.

Couldn't agree more. This is when storytelling takes a back seat.
